The practice

A practice built around one outcome

GTD® ANZ exists to help people across Australia and New Zealand turn training into something that lasts — the relaxed, focused control that David Allen calls Mind Like Water®. Plenty of people learn Getting Things Done®. Fewer keep it running once the week gets loud. That gap — between knowing the methodology and living it — is the whole reason this practice exists. It's a whole-person approach: not just clearing your work, but making room for the personal and professional life behind it. GTD® ANZ is a product brand under the Telus Partners umbrella.

Meet Stephan Jenner

Stephan is the authorised GTD® Master Trainer & Coach for Australia and New Zealand — licensed by the David Allen Company® to certify trainers, deliver the Mastering Workflow Series, and coach the methodology one-to-one. He has practised it daily for years: first in his own working life, then with the people and teams he coaches. He also leads Telus Partners, and works as a Holacracy coach and a Making a Difference facilitator — so the coaching sits inside a broader understanding of how people, teams and organisations actually get work done.

In practice

Trusted by demanding organisations

The GTD® methodology was developed and tested in demanding business environments, and Stephan has brought it to organisations that operate under real pressure — including Victoria Legal Aid, and teams across the energy, health and medical research, and retail sectors. The through-line is always the same: busy, capable people who need a system they can trust when the load is heavy.

“The entire GTD approach has boosted not only my productivity but also my wider well-being.”
— Daniel Pink, author of Drive and When

On the methodology Stephan teaches.

The methodology

The GTD® methodology, made yours

At the heart of it are five steps — Capture, Clarify, Organise, Reflect, Engage. They're simple to understand and surprisingly hard to keep running without support. Coaching isn't more theory; it's the practice that turns those five steps into habits, tuned to your tools, your role and your life — until checking your system feels lighter than carrying it in your head.

  1. Capture

    Collect what has your attention.

  2. Clarify

    Decide what it means.

  3. Organise

    Put it where it belongs.

  4. Reflect

Review frequently, including the GTD Weekly Review®.

  5. Engage

    Simply do, with confidence.

The lineage

Built on David Allen's work

Getting Things Done® began with David Allen and his book of the same name — described by TIME as the defining book of its kind, and published in more than twenty-eight languages. Its premise is disarmingly simple: “Your mind is for having ideas, not holding them.”® Today the David Allen Company® is widely regarded as the leading authority on personal and organisational productivity. As David Allen puts it, “your ability to generate power is directly proportional to your ability to relax.” GTD® ANZ brings that work to Australia and New Zealand under licence — the same methodology, coached one person and one team at a time.
